Sodium thiosulfate is the main compound in most chlorine neutralizers. Any time municipal water must be used, use sodium thiosulfate (or our other dechlorinating formula) for instant neutralization of chlorine (do not add directly to water containing fish).

Chlorine can be deadly to fish, so it's important to use a chlorine neutralizer like sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3) to keep your water healthy. This thiosulfate formula from ProLine is the main compound in most dechlorination chemicals, and it can be used on its own. Any time municipal water must be used, you should use sodium thiosulfate (or another dechlorinating agent) to neutralize the chlorine quickly and safely.

NOTE: Do not add sodium thiosulfate directly to water containing fish.

Appropriate dosage rates for this product vary with the pH of the water, but rates between 1.6 to 2.6 parts sodium thiosulfate formula per one part chlorine are typically appropriate (levels of thiosulfate up to 100 ppm will not harm fish). This ProLine product is made in USA.

International customers: Check with your customs agent to determine whether sodium thiosulfate can be shipped to your country.
