These Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems sand filters have been a favorite of aquaculturists for years—a testament to their performance, value and ease of use. But not all sand filters are equal. Arias 6000 sand filters include design features that give you consistent performance and quicker cleaning cycles to keep pump operating costs low. Arias 6000 provide years of service with only periodic backwashing to remove trapped debris from the sand.

The six-position valve has a manual air relief valve and a sight glass to make inspection, routine maintenance and operation fast and easy. Model A6000-40-AQ has 1 1/2" FNPT on the valve itself with 1 1/2" female slip unions included. Model A6000-60-AQ has 2" slip connection unions ONLY (no internal threads on this valve). Model A6000-100-AQ has 2" FNPT on the valve itself (but the filter includes 3" NPT to female slip unions). Pressure gauge also included.
