Rectangular troughs are used for hatching fish eggs, coral propagation, baitfish, larval rearing (use with McDonald-type hatching jars), invertebrate holding and many other culture applications. Although not as thick as our reinforced fiberglass tanks, they are still quite durable. The blue gel coat color may show scratches, but that will not effect the functionality of these products.
