The universal diffuser mount for disc diffusers is designed to accept a 3/4" MNPT diffuser connection. Installation simply requires drilling a 1 1/4" diameter hole, deburring the hole, installing the diffuser mount and screwing in the diffuser. The universal diffuser mount may be used for mounting on the top or bottom of the lateral, but is not recommended for sidewall mount of diffusers.
Note: Diffusers are also known as airstones.
