Resistance Immersion Heaters deliver the reliable, precise temperature control that commercial aquaculture operations depend on. Available in two lines, the Heavy-Duty series and the EASYPLUG™ series from Process Technology, these heaters are purpose built for recirculating aquaculture systems, hatcheries, fish farms, and research facilities where water temperature stability directly affects species health, growth rates, and feed efficiency. The Heavy-Duty line is designed for automatic, unattended operation, handling virtually any immersion heating application with consistent performance. The EASYPLUG™ series simplifies installation with a plug-in design requiring no hardwiring: mount the heater, plug it into the controller, and plug the controller into a wall receptacle. Both lines include an 8.5" flexible cord, with 3' of wire and conduit provided on 1800W 115V, 3500W, 5000W, and 6000W models.

Material selection: Type 316 stainless steel for freshwater systems and titanium for saltwater and marine environments where chloride and saline corrosion resistance is non-negotiable. Both lines are available in over-the-side and bottom-mount configurations, with bottom models locating the hot zone along the tank floor for optimal heat distribution. A built-in thermal protector, seated in a thermowell in contact with the heater sheath, cuts power automatically if the liquid level drops below the hot zone, protecting the heater and your facility. Never allow the water level to drop below the hot zone dimension, and keep the hot zone clear of scale buildup. All models are 50/60Hz compatible and backed by a one-year warranty.
