Multiport Valve, 2" Side Mount

The Pentair AES 2" NPT Multiport Valve is a side-mount flow control valve designed for use with the Arias 8000 Sand Filters. The Arias 8000 is a one-piece reinforced fiberglass sand filter with a UV-resistant surface finish, a 10-year tank warranty, and a maximum operating pressure of 50 psi. This multiport valve is the compatible valve option for the Arias™ 8000 and is sold separately. 

A multiport valve simplifies sand filter operation by allowing the operator to redirect water flow between multiple positions — filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, waste, and closed — by rotating a single valve handle. This eliminates the need to replumb the system for routine maintenance tasks like backwashing. The 2" NPT connection fits standard plumbing configurations used in aquaculture recirculating systems and pond setups.
