Instant Ocean Sea Salt

Instant Ocean® has been the preferred salt mix of public aquariums and home aquarists for decades. Scientifically blended to contain every major and minor trace element required to create artificial seawater, Instant Ocean provides a consistent and reliable solution for marine systems. The formula contains no phosphates or nitrates—chemicals that can promote algae growth and damage coral—and dissolves quickly without leaving insoluble residue. It also contains no chlorine remover.

Each package produces a 32-ppt salt solution at the listed volume, supporting accurate and predictable salinity control. Pentair AES offers multiple size options, including mixes sized to treat up to 200 gallons of water. Pallet quantities are available for facilities managing marine systems, holding tanks, or routine water changes.
