Pentair Foundation Spreads Holiday Cheer
Published on Dec 22, 2015

The Pentair Foundation was thrilled to bring Santa & gifts to 180 underprivileged children at a local community center this week. The area in which this particular community center is located has one of the lowest socioeconomic levels in Central Florida. On a daily basis many of the children face having less than others as well as dealing with crime or violence in their community. The center’s Head Start program works to ensure local low-income children have a safe haven to learn, socialize and interact with one another in a positive setting.

In an effort to spread some holiday cheer, the Pentair Foundation gladly donated over 400 gifts to these children who, according to the center’s staff, more than likely would not have had any toys to open for the holidays.

The happiness on their 4 & 5 year old faces made all of the “Pentair Elves’” hard work and preparation worth it. After the event, Program Director, Ms. Tambra Jackson said in part, “It is truly something that I, the parents, children or staff will never forget.”

It is always rewarding to give back and we are happy to have been a part of such a special day.
