Maintaining Healthy Lake:
City Revives Its Centerpiece, Monitors Water Quality Indicators

The city of Orlando continues to monitor the progress of Park Lake.

Reliable indicators of poor water quality, including phosphate, nitrate, B.O.D., fecal coliform and trophic state index levels, are all trending downward.

Dissolved oxygen levels have increased, and Secchi disk depth readings show a steady increase in water clarity.

Thanks to the installation of a Great Lakes Superior Aeration System and expert advice from our team, Park Lake is once again a healthy and beautiful centerpiece that Orlando residents are proud of and can enjoy.
