Measure the flow of water cleanly and accurately with a paddle wheel flow meter. We carry a large selection of meters with various flowrate ratings, and both pipe-mount and insertion models. These flow meters are designed for use in industrial fields, including irrigation, aquaculture, aquariums, paper mills, and swimming pools. They are universally accepted as an accurate means of measuring water flow electronically.
Our paddle wheel flow meters are popular due to their wide range in flowrates, negligible head-loss, and good accuracy at a reasonable price. Easy removal for cleaning and repair permit the meters to be mounted in lines with moderate particulate levels. The flow meters can be mounted outdoors when shielded from direct sunlight, as well as in isolated monitoring locations.
Each paddle wheel flow meter has an LCD digital display that shows the flow rate, a resettable totalizer, and a non-resettable totalizer at the same time. The rotatable head has embossed buttons on the face and a battery life of more than one year. The meter is also programmable with the pipe size and schedule from a list, and measures in gallons, GPM, liters, or cubic ft.
Sizes and Flow rates
We offer a selection of paddle wheel flow meters for pipes of different sizes and schedules. The meters can be mounted on vertical or horizontal pipes that meet the flow rate guidelines below. Pipes must be full of water with 10 times the pipe ID upstream of the meter and 5 times the ID on the outlet side. If you have any questions, ask us.
