Innovative Solutions for Every Body of Water

A Deep Problem

Warm Weather Disrupts Natural Water Conditions

At their deepest depths, bodies of water depend on oxygen. When water warms up during the summer, oxygen is often consumed faster than it can be replenished. This reverses the natural purification process, and nutrients that would normally be unavailable or “locked” in the sediment are recycled into the water column. These nutrients are just as harmful to a lake or pond as those that come from the surrounding watershed.

Our Guarantee

You Ask, We Deliver

Our aeration systems will keep bottom-dissolved oxygen above 5 mg/L as mandated by the U.S. Clean Water Act of 1972. If you request that specification, we guarantee the performance of our design in writing.

Protect Ponds from Runoff

MAID Removes Pollutants from Runoff in Ponds

Our Mobile Alum Injection Device (MAID) is designed to automatically dose a pond with the proper amount of nontoxic alum, which binds to phosphorous and other pollutants carried into the water by rain and snow melt. Together they sink to the bottom and can be collected and removed. By taking away the nutrients algae need to grow, our MAID systems keep water looking beautiful and healthy for fish and other aquatic life.

The Challenge:

Park Lake had a history of some of the poorest water quality in the Orlando, Fla., area. The 10-acre lake generated many complaints about hydrilla algae blooms and fish kills attributed to low dissolved oxygen and high nutrient levels.

In an attempt to resolve these issues, herbicides were used, but were quickly discovered to be a futile, expensive and temporary fix.
